What’s changing with the new platform?

It will offer a faster, more intuitive experience. You’ll notice:

* A cleaner, modern design

* Easier navigation and search

* Quicker access to your teaching resources

* Better performance across devices

What’s staying the same?

Everything you already know and use, including:

* Your login email

* Your licensed teaching resources and digital content

The same features you know delivered in a better way

When can I start using the new platform?

Can I still use GillExplore?

Accepted Answer

* To support a smooth transition, there will be a dual-run period with the GillExplore.ie app remaining fully accessible until 31 December 2025, giving everyone time to get fully up and running on Gill Classroom. After that, only the new platform and app will be in use.

* The GillExplore.ie website will not be available after Gill Classroom goes live on 11 August 2025.

* eBooks and digital resources for titles published in 2025 will only be available on Gill Classroom.

What happens to my existing resources and access?

Everything you currently have licensed access to on GillExplore.ie will be available on the new platform, just presented in a cleaner, more user friendly format.

Question 7

Do I need a new account?

Accepted Answer

No need to create a new account. You’ll simply log in to the new platform using your existing username. You’ll be prompted to create a new password and then all of your existing licensed content will be available for you to access. If you’re new to the platform, you’ll be easily able to register a new account.

Will training or support be available?

Yes. We’ll provide helpful resources to guide you through the new layout.

This improvement is happening because of feedback from teachers like you. It will:

* Make it simpler and quicker to use in the classroom

* Keep it flexible and ready for future teaching needs

What if I change schools?

No problem. If your email is staying the same, just contact our Digital Support Team, and they will update your account details for you. If you’re switching to a new email address, you’ll need to register a new account using that email address.

How do I update my profile?

Accepted Answer

You can update your profile anytime by going to your account settings and making the changes there.
